Scope of Work
- Excavation and disposal of 20,000 tonnes of granular soils impact with Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)
Resources & Challenges
- Total Crew: 6 Persons
- Equipment Used:
2 Excavators, 1 Loader, 1 Skidsteer, 10 Highway Trucks.
- Challenges:
Working collaboratively with an environment consultant, Ironclad managed & exported impacted soils to Class II landfill. Where possible, lesser-impacted soils were repurposed as industrial clean fill at City of Calgary landfills. Additionally, the site had significant buried rubble and debris which required sorting and disposal of both recyclable and waste products.
